Oleo Svensson, age 45

Oleo has worked the docks for twenty years. He left home young, and has lived in the starports for half his life. He is now a skilled starship mechanic and technician, with friends in the Navy and Merchants. He more or less fair, though he will favor his network by passing on information he hears from one group to the next. Basically a straighforward kind of guy.

Juan Cauhetemoc, age 53
Looks & acts collected, like a Spanish bishop.

Juan has worked on ships since he was young, as part of the family trade. When he was old enough he went to a technical school with a modest scholarship to study for the Starport Exams. Now he works in the maintenance area of the starport: fuel, repairs, overhaul, and cargo handling. He is good-natured and rowdy, with a degree of cultural and job-related arrogance.

Francois Gashaan, age 39
Meticulous manners, outfit, hair. Polite.
Played by: French waiter stereotype
Francois was born out of a wealthy family in decline. By the time he came of age he had to find work, while his oldest brother claimed the family wealth for his own and went gallavanting off in a Yacht. Refusing to admit his new station in life, Francois performs starship maintenance with a critical, perfectionist's eye, always ready to criticise over-used systems and suggest expensive design improvements. Over time, it will become apparent that there are cheaper mechanics.

Eneri Cotazur, age 23
Purple hair, nervous.

Eneri has a genetic defect that causes his hair to turn purple from solar radiation. A young conscript who was saved from execution by a kindly starport admin who saw his ability to fix things. He has no recollection of family, and is rather quiet and reclusive, except he is very grateful to the admin for saving him. When befriended, he will be extremely helpful. He only repairs, so he can't fix prices; however, he can find problems and suggest cheap and reliable workarounds to otherwise expensive problems.
